Composer and musician (Japanese flutes and taiko drums) Kaoru Watanabe in concert with Satoshi Takeishi, National Sawdust artist-in-resident Alicia Hall Moran, Fumi Tanakadate and Sayun Chang. The program will feature compositions from Watanabe’s upcoming album, Néo as well as a re-working of Beyoncé’s Run The World (Girls) conceived of by Moran for a Whitney Museum residency.
