If You Build it

Lightly stack the smoothest stones
and clear away the brush. Coax

the canopy to admit sunbeams.
Build up a fence with gates aplenty.

You will mostly use this as a balancing
beam. Weave fronds and flowers

into swings and lattice twigs for climbing.
Call on ideas to try out the equipment.

Once you’ve built your mind’s playground
they will come and bring their friends, too.
