Miranda Cuckson

Called “an artist to be reckoned with” (Gramophone), violinist/violist Miranda Cuckson is acclaimed by audiences for her performances of a wide range of repertoire. In demand both as a soloist and chamber musician, she made her recent Carnegie Hall concerto debut in Piston’s concerto with the American Symphony Orchestra. She is one of the most sought-after performers of contemporary music, and has presented concerts as director of Nunc and in collaboration with other organizations. She has released nine lauded solo CDs, and her recording of Luigi Nono’s ”La lontananza nostalgica utopica futura” was named a Best Classical Recording of 2012 by the NYT.
