What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Finnish composer Saariaho once spoke of the importance of "the experience of living in the 'period of darkness,'" adding "there’s a very specific term for this in Finnish: kaamos—all the while retaining hope that the sunlight will start strengthening again until it is fully restored." Her ethereal duet Changing Light will be performed by soprano Susanna Phillips (who memorably starred in the Metropolitan Opera's L'Amour de Loin) and Attacca Quartet cellist Andrew Yee, while Fourth Wall Ensemble will essay her haunting Nuits, Adieux, a ten-passage work about singing, breathing, whispering, nighttime and farewells, led by Artistic and Creative Director Christopher Allen.

The NS+ program, hosted by Elena Park, will also feature Yee performing their own work and Allen on piano, as well as readings and poetry. The evening, showcasing photography by DarkSky International Delegate John Bulmer, will focus on the critical preservation of the night sky, exploring local and global efforts to reduce light pollution and protect animals, humans, and the environment.

NationalSawdust+, the lively performance and conversation series curated by Elena Park since the venue opened its doors, brings together luminaries from across disciplines who share their passion for music and explore ideas and current issues, making surprising connections. This season, NS+ continues its For Nature theme, investigating the interplay and collision between the natural and human world; programs feature artists and musicians, scientists, and activists working to preserve and restore the environment, with recent evenings focusing on regeneration, coral reef and wildlife protection, and indigenous wisdom. The NS+ team includes Producer Jeff Tang and Associate Producer Avery Leigh Draut.

For Nature is made possible by the generous support of Kathryn and Emmanuel Morlet and the Wescustogo Foundation.
