A/V 360

About the Series

A new audiovisual series by composer Ricardo Romaneiro, A/V 360 presents immersive performances exploring relationships between sound, light, film, and live visuals. Using the Meyer Sound Constellation® acoustic system, newly installed at National Sawdust, A/V 360 will envelop audiences in an ethereal, pulsating audiovisual experience intertwined with electronic and acoustic sounds.

Featuring A/V collaborations with Subhaze, Liquid Light Lab, and Little Cinema, and intimate projects with pianist Ola Gjeilo, harpists Jacqui Kerrod and Melanie Genin, vocalists Hannah Sumner and Daisy Press, flutist Catherine Gregory, clarinetist Vasko Dukovski, violinist Manami Mizumoto, cellist Justin Abrams, and handpan master Adam Maalouf, as well as groups such as Metropolis Ensemble, String Noise, and Sandbox Percussion.

A/V 360 will also present pulsating late-night electronic improv sessions that stretch the acoustically possible using the Constellation® acoustic system, featuring Leo Leite, NoiSioN, David Zisa, Zenon Marko, and Doug McMillen, and visual artists such as Christian Hannon, Mau, and more.
