About the Show
“…beautifully languid…the playing here is gently brilliant. The music can work its way into your subconscious to the point where you almost forget you’re listening to it.”- Dave Mandl, The Wire
“It’s three of my favorite musicians, and the music is incandescent”
– Laurie Anderson
NS Curator Jeffrey Zeigler presents Trio S, showing off live looping and invented instruments to perform original melodies, evoking both water and dreams.
This is the release show for the second album by Trio S – led by clarinetist Doug Wieselman, with Jane Scarpantoni on cello and Kenny Wollesen on drums and percussion.
