AVI FREY

AVI FREY is a public interest lawyer. He has litigated in areas of death penalty defense, defense of juveniles sentenced to life in prison without parole, and various civil rights matters including reproductive justice, affirmative action, disability rights, education, and police accountability.

REBECCA SCHIFFMAN

REBECCA SCHIFFMAN is a songwriter, musician, artist, designer, and writer. Her self-titled third album, produced by Money Mark and featuring Nels Cline, recently came out on Fayettenam Records. Her paintings have been shown at Ratio3 and Bas Fisher Invitational and her jewelry has been featured in The New York Times. She has published personal essays at The Nervous Breakdown and on her blog The U.E.S. Journal.

RICH BENJAMIN

RICH BENJAMIN is a writer and cultural critic. His political analysis appears regularly in public debate, including on NPR, The New York Times, The New York Times Sunday Book Review, MSNBC, C-SPAN, and Salon.com. He is the author of Searching for Whitopia: An Improbable Journey to the Heart of White America (Hachette, 2009).
