About
National Sawdust invites you to experience SUBHAZE: Invisible Dimensions, an ethereal, pulsating, audio-visual performance by composer Ricardo Romaneiro, projection artist Christian Hannon, clarinetist Vasko Dukovski, cellist Justin Abrams, and sound engineer Leo Leite.
For this performance, SUBHAZE transforms the space with fog, lights, strobes, and projections, filling the air with an immersive, surround-sound electronic score completed with live accompaniment from a contrabass clarinet. Binaural beats create an auditory illusion, taking the listener on a meditative, cerebral journey through ecstatic mental states, merging the senses of sight and sound in one mind-blowing combination. SUBHAZE: Invisible Dimensions is a multi-sensory immersive experience like no other.

The Artists
SUBHAZE is an audiovisual collaboration project and collective that explores the connection between light and sound in various media, from live performances to installation experiences. Exploring a shared aesthetic of natural beauty, geometry, and simplicity focused around organic collaborations and improvisations, SUBHAZE cultivates a sound world of ethereal harmonies with heavy sub frequencies and glitched-out rhythmic grooves that are interpreted by real-time visual projection mapping.
