Sound Particles
National Sawdust invites you to Sound Particles, a pulsating electro-acoustic exploration on granular synthesis, subatomic frequencies, glitched rhythms and time stretched spectral harmonies. Music by Ricardo Romaneiro with live visuals by Christian Hannon. In performance with Jacqui Kerrod (electric harp), John Hadfield (percussion), Leo Leite (engineer), NoisioN (analog synths), David Zisa (modular synth), Hannah Sumner (vocals), Daisy Press (vocals), Ramin Abrams (electric bass), Justin Abrams (cello), Fabio Morelli (prepared piano) & special guest Fallen Atom.
Join us for a sonic experience inspired by the world of sound grains, accompanied by live projections.

The next installment of Wet Ink's ongoing Portrait Concerts series celebrates the work of Anthony Braxton for his 70th birthday. Showcasing the extraordinary breadth & scope of Braxton's output, from the early Stockhausen-influenced chamber works to mid-career quartet works, as well as the development of his “Ghost Trance Music” series through the large ensemble brings together an incredible lineup of interpreters and improvisers for the evening.

The characters for Neó ?? can be interpreted as the "beginning of sound" or even "unified sound". Appropriately, Neó also sounds like neo, suggesting an innovative approach to these ancient instruments.
