AdHoc presents: Chris Cohen

10pm doors • 10:30pm show

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer Chris Cohen was a key member of the iconic band Deerhoof, writing numerous songs for them over the course of his four-year tenure. But he’s equally regarded for his work as a solo musician — Pitchfork hails his “sunlit, pastoral, and serenely strange” sound for being “theatrical in a generous, arresting way”. Now, presented by National Sawdust Curator AdHoc, he’s bringing music from his forthcoming devastatingly personal album to National Sawdust. Don’t miss your chance to hear this extraordinary musician live in our devotional, intimate space.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
