Mani & the Wildflowers is an R&B band currently based out of New York City. Formed in 2018, they have already made a splash in the music scene with their eclectic sound and feel. Mani has been writing songs since she was 13 and moved from Atlanta to NYC to attend school in 2016. Since moving to the city she began to collaborate with pianist, Matthew Malanowski and saxophonist Jason Chrisman which later led to the addition Jack Kotze (trombone), Chris Palmer (bass), Sam Towse (keyboards), and Jongkuk Kim (percussion) rounding out the rest of the band. Their debut single “Lost + Found,” is available on all streaming platforms.
Sarah Snider aka No Intimate (@mommy.issues) is an NYC-based sonic/visual artist and DJ working within the intersection of chance, identity, and technology. She DJs as a part of the collective Brujas (@brujas) and is the founder of Pretty Records (@pretty.records), a record label dedicated to supporting marginalized artists.
Rory White is an Irish cellist and composer. Having recently toured with German electronic music artist Christian Löffler, Rory’s focus has grown from Classical music towards new contexts for the cello. This evening he presents his sound art installation that explores the time-based connections between spoken poetry and music, featuring text by renowned Irish Professor of Poetry, Paula Meehan. https://www.ror-y.com/
