Frances Champion

Events Coordinator

Frances graduated from Denison University in 2016 with majors in Economics and Communication, and started her professional career as an Investor Relations Associate at Taylor Rafferty. After a year in finance, she is now following her passions for music and event planning at National Sawdust.

Previously, Frances was on the executive board and a DJ for Denison’s student-run radio station, 91.1WDUB, and founded an annual, outdoor music festival through WDUB, booking acts such as Danny Brown, RAC, Beach Fossils, and many more.

She is also an Ambassador for Sofar Sounds NYC, acting in various roles at pop-up gigs, and conducting research of top-tier artists for Sofar partner Amnesty International, for the “Give a Home” benefit project (1000+ artists performing 300 shows in 200 cities around the world, all in one night).
